Central Penn Business Journal polled employees who put the innovative healthcare marketing agency on top
Digitas Health LifeBrands, the leading digital-at-the-core brand agency for the new era of healthcare marketing, has been named one of Pennsylvania’s Best Places to Work by the Central Penn Business Journal, ranking number 9 for 2014. The companies that made this year’s list were honored last night at the Lancaster County Convention Center in Pennsylvania. The Central Penn Business Journal will also publish a special supplement in December profiling the top 100 companies. To make the list of “Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania” the agency employees take a survey provided by the Best Companies Group, which compiles data in the areas of corporate culture and communications, role satisfaction, work environment, training and development, and leadership and planning. “We are especially gratified to receive this honor, as it comes directly from our employees and exemplifies the energized, interactive and creative culture we experience every day. We are indeed very fortunate and appreciate each and every one of our friends we work with,” said Michael du Toit, President, Digitas Health LifeBrands. At the agency’s Center City Philadelphia headquarters, staff art hangs from the walls and employees take to the office’s performance stage in open mic nights and other entertaining, innovative activities. As an industry and community leader, the agency has played host to PhillyCHI’s UX Show & Tell, DesignPhiladelphia, and EducationWorks. The agency also produces two proprietary thought leadership events: mDot and ThinkDigital, which bring together industry leaders and innovators at the intersection of health and technology for provocative discussions. Employees gave the company high marks for work/life balance, collegial atmosphere and good opportunities for career development. “The Digitas Health creative culture fosters innovation, and that collaborative spirit is what makes this such a great place to work and enables us to attract great talent,” explains Alexandra von Plato, President and Global Chief Creative Officer of Digitas Health LifeBrands. The Best Places to Work program is conducted through a partnership consisting of Team Pennsylvania Foundation, a non- partisan, charitable non-profit created in 1997 to bridge the gap between government and the private sector for the betterment of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development; the Pennsylvania State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management, and Journal Multimedia.
