Rails Across Russia: St. Petersburg to the Pacific

November 15-16, 2010
Presented by: Mary Lee and Sid Nolan

This epic journey on the Trans-Siberian Railroad is one of the world’s great train rides. We’ll cross eight time zones in our travels, and at times we’ll deviate from the rails to explore by car, ferry, hydrofoil, plane, and helicopter-all guided by the expert cameras of veteran travelers Mary Lee and Sid Nolan. Our trip includes an extension to the Tsarist capitol of St. Petersburg, a stay on the fascinating Olkhon Island in Lake Baikal, a visit to Ulan-Ude, home of Buryats who still practice the Buddhist religion-and much, much more!
