Canada Became The Sochi 2014 Olympic Ice Hockey Champion

The final hockey match between Canada and Sweden at the Bolshoy Ice Palace was an exciting end to the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi. Canada won the last of the 98 gold medals. The Vancouver Olympic Champions did not give Sweden a chance, winning 3-0.

The Canadians opened the scoring in the middle of the 1st period with a goal from Jonathan Toews.

Sidney Crosby built on the success of his team in the 36th minute, and Chris Kunitz dispelled all doubts about the winner of the Olympic Games in Sochi in 2014 – he hit the back of the Swedish goal in the 50th minute.
