“Chanukah On Ice”

If you are looking for a unique way to have some Chanukah fun this season, what could be more delightful than a combination of sparkling ice and a dazzling menorah?

On Saturday Night, December 8, 2012, from 7:00 – 9:00 pm, men, women and children from Southern New Jersey will get together at the Flyers’ Skate Zone, in Voorhees, New Jersey for the area’s ultimate celebration of Chanukah – “Chanukah On Ice.” A family event you will not want to miss.

Program will begin with open skating where children and adults can skate to contemporary Jewish music and classic Chanukah songs.

In addition, guests will be invited to watch a giant Chanukah Ice Menorah actually being lit during the festivities. The Menorah will stand over 5 feet tall and weigh over 400 pounds!

“We want to bring the spirit of the Chanukah holiday alive for everyone – adults and kids alike,” said Rabbi Yitzchok Kahan, Chabad Program and Youth Director. “These are outstanding moments that they won’t soon forget.”
