The magic of the holiday season at Adventure Aquarium’s Christmas Celebration: the sights, sounds, scents and warmth of the season are around every corner.
Meet Scuba Santa. Who is Scuba Santa you may ask? Why, he’s Santa Claus! But in order to deliver the animals their gifts, he has to be able to swim in deep waters. So, Santa suits up to dive with all the necessary equipment: a red wetsuit, black fins and a mask made to fit around his fluffy white beard. That’s why he earned the name “Scuba Santa” by the aquarium animals.
Even with dive gear, delivering gifts to thousands of animals can be difficult for Scuba Santa. Do not worry; Scuba Santa’s Helpers are here to lend a hand! In the North Pole, Scuba Santa has the help of elves. At Adventure Aquarium, his helpers are “elfish:” they work just as hard as the elves and have the ability to swim.
This year, see more Scuba Santa then ever! We have added more shows and appearances to give each guest a chance to see him. We even added brand new elements to Scuba’s Santa’s theater to help immerse you in his world. Here, he will be on-hand to delight children young and old while he dives among sea turtles, hammerhead, tiger sharks and tons of fish. Bring your wishes to share with Scuba Santa as he swims with the fishes! Be sure to charge your camera battery and clear some space on your memory card! Meet Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer™
You and your family will be transported into the 1964 special, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer™ and meet Rudolph face to face in his Christmas forest of white glowing trees. You’ll even hear him as he sends his holiday wishes to you and your family. Just imagine how adorable a photo with Rudolph and family will be as the backdrop of your next Christmas card!
The animals at Adventure Aquarium anxiously await the arrival of Christmas just like you and me. Each year, the animals share the spirit of the holiday with other animals and the aquarium guests. The animals also get very excited for the arrival of their gifts, delivered by Scuba Santa!
