Spectators will experience the thrill of a lifetime at the 61st Annual Philadelphia Hero Thrill Show on Saturday October 10 at noon outside the Wells Fargo Center, 3601 S. Broad St., in South Philadelphia. Thrill Show President/CEO Jimmy Binns, an attorney, Darby Township Highway

will lead an all-star lineup. The show featuresGrand Marshal and humanitarian Cathy Burke, owner of the Irish Pub, and Philly R&B singer Bunny “Let The Good Times Roll” Sigler, Police Highway Patrol Motorcycle Drill Team, K-9 Unit, Police Mounted Unit, Homeland Security/ S.W.AT. equipment, fire engines, WXTU country radio personalities Doc & Andie, displays of crime-fighting equipment by the Aviation Unit, Bomb Squad, the Crime Scene Investigation Unit, the Marine Unit, Firearms Instructors, Police Academy and S.W.A.T unit. Philly favorites — The Phillie Phanatic, Sixers Dance Team & Sixers Dunk Team — also will be on hand. The show is designed to raise money for the college education of survivors of deceased police and fire personnel killed in the line of duty in the Delaware Valley.Tickets are $10 for single purchase, $25 for families (5 tickets, half price).
