Lately some very strange events have been happening in the wildlife: numerous animal, bird and fish deaths are recorded all over the world for an unknown reason. Here is just a short list of countries where these suspicious events took place:
Brazil: 100 tonnes of dead fish were washed ashore near the city of Parana.
Canada: besides mass bird deaths, the river Goldstream in British Columbia turned acid green for an hour.
Italy: thousands of doves fall from the sky with some blue substance in their beaks.
New Zealand: penguins and other seabirds are being washed ashore.
UK: 40 000 crabs were found dead on the beach in Kent County, UK.
But one of the most impressive (in a bad way) events of mass bird deaths happened in Arkansas: on the Christmas Eve from 3 to 5 thousand of black birds fell from the sky on a territory of less than a square mile! Bird die-offs were also seen in Alabama, California, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Tennessee and Texas.
Scientists make one guess after another: air/water pollution or poisoning, too cold/hot temperature, change in magnetic fields. Some of them say that its absolutely natural, overpopulation of some species causes “population cutback”. But would they be able to answer why all these deaths have been happening in the period of just 3 weeks?
