KC & the Sunshine Band and comedian Dave Attell are the latest acts announced for the music fair, reviving the tradition of bringing renowned singers to Valley Forge.
Continuing the revival of a local tradition, Valley Forge Casino Resort announces that KC & The Sunshine Band and comedian Dave Attell will perform as part of the Valley Forge Casino Resort Music Fair, following Smokey Robinson’s sold-out kick-off performance on December 13.
“We are offering a signature music fair guest experience by bringing national headliners to our state-of-the-art venue,” said Valley Forge Casino Resort Chief Marketing Officer Jennifer Galle. “We look forward to offering these types of high-caliber performances within our upscale resort including hotel, dining, gaming and a safe, exclusive gaming environment – for years to come.”
KC & The Sunshine Band, responsible for some of the biggest hits of the 1970’s including “Get Down Tonight,” “That’s the Way (I Like it)” and “Boogie Shoes,” will perform at the resort’s state-of-the-art convention center on January 24. Tickets for KC & The Sunshine Band’s performance are available at Ticketmaster.com.
Attell, a stand-up comedian, and actor will bring his Comedy Underground tour to the Waterford Ballroom on February 6. Attell, listed as one of the “25 Funniest People in America” by Entertainment Weekly, has been featured on Saturday Night Live, and the Daily Show and hosted Insomniac and The Gong Show. Tickets for Attell’s show are available at Ticketmaster.com.
KC & The Sunshine Band and Attell mark the second and third performances in the Valley Forge Casino Resort Music Fair, announced in September. Additional acts will be announced in coming months.
