Philadelphia Science Festival

ONE BIG CITY. TWO GREAT WEEKS. 120 FREE EVENTS.

April 15-28, 2011

The Philadelphia Science Festival is a citywide collaboration showcasing science and technology. Part of a national movement to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers, it builds on Philadelphias rich history of innovation with dozens of events at museums, universities, and neighborhood libraries.

A listing of festival programs produced, hosted by, or including the Academy of Natural Sciences is presented below. For the full ranges of festival offerings, go to PhilaScienceFestival.org

For two weeks Philadelphia’s schools, universities, cultural institutions, and research centers will come together as a single, united voice to put science in the spotlight. Scientists and engineers throughout the city will present fun, interactive programs for Philadelphians of all ages.

Yards is brewing a special Belgian Strong Ale. Its first tapping will be at the Science Festival tap party on Friday, April 15. It will also be available at café events throughout the city, throughout the Festival.
